  • To maintain a level of preparedness through training and education in the event of an emergency or disaster.

  • Provide visibility within the city while observing and reporting criminal activity.

  • Augment sworn officers in the performance of traffic and crowd control at events

  • To supplement the department when requested by deploying basic and incidental police procedures.
